E5 : Business Continuity Policy

We believe that businesses are responsible for achieving good environmental practice and operating in a sustainable manner. We are therefore committed to reducing our environmental impact and continually improving our environmental performance as an integral and fundamental part of our business strategy and operating methods. It is our priority to encourage our customers, suppliers and all business associates to do the same. Not only is this sound commercial sense for all; it is also a matter of delivering on our duty of care towards future generations.

Premises

All premises accredited to ISO9001 for manufacturing have to have approval for such work from our accrediting body. As a single site we have just a single address authorised to carry out manufacturing and supply Our premises consist of 3 separate areas. This sectioning allows for a risk reduction in rendering our premises unworkable. The property is protected by a fire alarm and sprinkler system, and is protected by a redcare security system linked to a remote security monitoring facility.

Equipment

Key pieces of instrumentation are protected by a service agreement with the calibration bodies and a 24 hours call out facility is in place. We have multiple items of essential equipment meaning there is contingency for breakdowns. All key equipment is serviced and calibrated annually. All equipment is monitored for performance on a daily basis and the results are recorded and reviewed for trend identification.

IT

Data is backed up in house every 15 minutes and a daily full backup is taken and stored both in the cloud and off site on our external server, a full disaster recovery operation is run every 12 months in conjunction with our IT support partners. Data security is protected encryption.

Staff

We have multiple qualified members of staff who have cross discipline training, we also have a number of part time staff who can work full time as and when required.
